Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre has been a successful fundraiser for the Junior League of Anniston-Calhoun since 2001, allowing the League to give back to the community that its members call home.
A very special THANK YOU to the Murder Mystery Dinner committee members (Maryann Deason, Anna-Marie Moorer, Joanna Ward, Cindy Cater, Jennifer Argo, Lynn Mitchell, Lindsay Hendley, Toni Christopher, Kristi Yates, Missy Wagoner, Kara Silvers, Mandy Edwards, Brooke McCulley, Lauren Miller, Katherine Davidson, Jamie Pruitt, and Dawn Wilczek) for helping put together an OUTSTANDING fundraising event! When all Junior League members pull together - it is great to see a successful event raising a lot of money for the women and children in our community. Friday night was sold out 2 weeks before the event! Saturday night was still being sold the day of thanks to the buzz from the night before. Thank you to everyone for selling tickets, promoting to your family/friends/coworkers, collecting silent auction items, working shifts, and attending the event!

Dillard's Discount Day
Dillard’s Discount Day presented by Junior League of Calhoun County was held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Dillard’s of Quintard Mall. Shoppers were eager to shop, save, and win big at this first annual event. Ticket holders received 10% off their entire purchase, enjoyed refreshments, and a fashion show featuring Junior League members. Plus, shoppers had a chance to win a Brahmin Handbag and a $500 shopping spree at Dillard’s (courtesy of Dillard’s). The winner of the handbag was Myra Mason and the winner of the $500 shopping spree was JLAC Treasurer Kara Silvers…CONGRATS to you both! Give a round of applause for Dillard’s manager Brian Huffman and his staff for opening early and accommodating our event. Dillard’s Discount Day was a success and many thanks to all who supported.
